Inspired and based on the short Story "I am Legend" by Richard Matheson (1954). His work has been turned into a movie on serveral occasions:
-"The Last Man on Earth" (1964) - Starring Vincent Price
-"The Omega Man" (1971) - Starring Charlton Heston
-"I am Legend" (2006) - Starring Will Smith
The quote in the beginning of the track is from "The Omega Man".
(Which marks the second time Heston's voice is on an Distant Past Record = "Breath-the Spell" from Utopian Void features a snippet from "The Planet of the Apes" (1968)
The Title of the song is borrowed from the Mockbuster "I am Omega" which came out in 2006.
